Prof. Dr. Finn Surlyk retires from his position at Universty of Copenhagen in 2013. To celebrate and acknowledge his outstanding contribution to geology in general and sedimentolog y in par ticular a group of present colleagues and former students from Depar tment of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management proudly announces a scientific symposium. The symposium features talks from invited internationally renowned scientists. They will present scientific results with the central theme being sedimentolog y and its development from a pioneering science into a mature and central discipline in geoscience.
